For Families

Enrollment & family supports

Our enrollment process is designed to be welcoming, supportive and relationship-based. Every child and family brings unique strengths, experiences and needs — this process helps us get to know your child and make sure the right supports are in place.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Expression of Interest

Families contact us by phone or complete the online form to join the waitlist. When space becomes available, we will reach out with next steps.

  2. Connection Circle — Developmental Observation

Families are invited to a welcoming play-based session. Children explore through play while our team observes strengths, communication and interactions. Caregivers complete Part A of the enrollment package.

  3. Follow-up & next steps

After the session we connect with families to discuss next steps. This may include moving forward to a home visit, or connecting families to additional supports.

  4. Home visit

Families meet with a Family Support Worker to build connection, complete Part B forms, discuss family goals and routines, and learn about program supports.

  5. Program orientation

Families attend an information session covering program expectations, daily routines and important policies. You will receive a welcome package with details about your child’s site and team.

  6. First day of program

Your child’s start date is shared in the acceptance letter. Our team works alongside families to support a smooth and positive transition.

Our approach

Respect, belonging and partnership

We believe families are the experts on their children, and we value working together to support each child’s growth and success. We use a strength-based, non-judgmental lens that recognizes the gifts, abilities and potential of every child and family.

We are committed to cultural safety and to honouring Indigenous ways of knowing, being and belonging — creating a space where children feel safe, connected and valued, and where families feel welcomed, respected and supported every step of the way.
